After over 10 years of doing alcohol home detoxes in England, Scotland and Wales, we have now started now doing them in Northern Ireland for clients with an addiction to alcohol. This is a very affordable way to be detoxed from alcohol if you are struggling from an alcohol addiction.
Alcohol Home detox How does it work
The process is very simple, and aimed to keep the client safe at all times. We have a duty of care towards the clients safety, and we do maintain it.
The first step is for our detox nurse to do a telephone assessment with the client over the phone, to make sure it is safe for us to do an alcohol home detox. You will see all the way through this, that client safety is paramount.
The second stage is for our detox nurse to do a video consultation on computer to the client, and who is ever going to be staying with the client during their detox period. This can be a friend, family member etc. The client must have somebody with them during their alcohol home detox period. This is because the mediation we use is a mild sedative. Exactly the same medication as all private rehab centres use.
So if the client was to fall and bang their head. We need someone there. It is a duty of care. Some clients say, well if I am drunk, and fall and bang my head, and no one is with me, what is the difference? The difference is you are not under our care.
The next stage is, our detox nurse will send some medical paperwork for the client to sign. This is done via email, both ways. So will not take much to do. Once that is done we collect payment which is £1295. That is all you pay. No vat etc as this is a medical process. We then transfer the medication from our medical centre to the clients local chemist. The supervisor will need to collect the mediation for obvious reasons. Them you are ready to start your alcohol home detox.

Our detox nurse will call the supervisor a minimum of 4 times a day, which are the medication times. This will continue throughout the duration of your detox until the client is clean from alcohol. The supervisor will be giving the client the medication, supervised by our detox nurse. This is pills only, so nothing to worry about.
