What is rehab

Alcohol Rehab. You maybe thinking what is rehab? What really goes on. Does it work. Well the simple answer is 9/10 times it does work, providing the client wants to give up. It is much harder if they do not want to give up as ‘denial’ kicks in and tends to take over. Here are the facts about alcohol rehab.

Triggers – Alcohol rehab

Rehabilitation as it is also called is the method of finding out why the client has turned to drink. What are the triggers, when did it all start, how can we get them through this. So this is what we do. We need to find the underlying issue which is causing their addition. Get the client through the phycological aspects of addiction. Restore their natural sleep pattern. Restore the clients appetite. Set the client up with coping mechanisms etc

It is safe?

The medication used for detoxing a healthy client from alcohol in all our residential rehab centres is safe and none addictive. It is the same medication all residential, home detoxes, and hospitals use for clients with an addiction to alcohol. It will be given to the client 4x a day, and them reduced down over a period of 7 to 10 days until the client is detoxed from alcohol. Plus all our residential rehab centres have 24 hour nursing, so at no time are you alone.

This is all done through one to one counselling, group work, the 12 step program etc. It is nothing to be worried about, and everyone in the centre is there to help the client. No one is judgmental, and everyone is friendly. Call 07811 606 606 we can, and will help you.
